The Black Widow uses the Black Pastel in combination with the BumbleBee to create a truly stunning triple combination morph. The Cinnamon Pastel and Black Pastel are similar and compatible, but the Black Pastel does not distort the pattern like the Cinnamon Pastel does. It is much more desirable to use the Black Pastel gene in your combination morphs that involve pattern. The Black Widow is a beautiful example of what a triple gene conbo can be. We are very excited to breed this to the Black Eyed Leucistic this year and hopefully we can make something new by adding the Fire gene to the Black Widow. Pictured is a female that was produced with the male that we kept. Hopefully we will have Black Widows to offer in the summer of 2010. Please check back to this site for availability. |
