Sun Fire (Python reticulatus)

Common Name: Reticulated Python

Scientific Name: Python reticulatus
Morph: Sun Fire
Genetics: Co-dominant
Status: Now Available

The Sun Fire retic is a new mutation that seems to be inherited in the same way as the Tiger morph.  The trait is characterized by brilliant orange coloration on the sides and back.  Bob Clark imported a more extreme version of the snake above.  When he bred it to a normal, all of the offspring were Sun Fires.  You need this gene to add insane orange to all of the morphs.

The Sunfire is a key morph like the Pastel is in Ball Pythons.  The combos we are seeing with this gene are unreal.  It will be essential for any serious retic breeder to have the Sunfire gene in their collection.
