I'm still getting a handle on some of the genetics behind the whole breeding variations, and I understand dominant/recessive trait differences. But I want to get a clearer understanding of what "morphs" (recessive) that display a noticeable difference in appearance.

So far I understand the noticeable pattern difference in het granites. What other morphs display pattern differences in a heterozygous animal? I've heard about het labs and het greens having some difference, but, how noticeable is it?

I've also seen the recent double and triple het animals along with the homozygous results (albino/green/granite etc.). How would the granite gene possibly affect the lab (in het form)?

Thanks, all, for the help...

That is a not so good pic of my possible triple het(albino, green, granite) purchased from Dr. Owens, sent to me by way of Jim Mason(bebo).

This pic is of my double het(albino, green), sent to me by way of Eric(BigE).

I think that there are huge differences between, the double het, and this burm.

She is het albino.

My triple totally stands out from the rest of them. His pattern is kinda blurred, like outta focus. Really an amazing looking animal. I have noticed, from limited personal experience, that het greens have more of a khaki color as opposed to the "golden" color border on their dorsal green spots. Het granites, as you said previously have a real definante puzzle pattern. When you combine the two, it looks as though the puzzle pattern on the back is bordered by a khaki, instead of a "golden" color.

Hope this helps, and does not confuse you more,
Jason

Thanks, that actually helps a lot. I've seen greens and granites, but I've only seen het granites. Thanks for the info.

To echo what's already been said, here's some new shots of my female dh albino/patternless.
